Project's Summary

Orange Regional Medical Center Unveils Campus Master Plan

Orange Regional Medical Center has partnered with the Lamar Johnson Collaborative architectural studio to develop a campus master plan that anticipates the future needs of the community. The plan includes the design of two adjacent projects, an outpatient care center and a cancer center expansion.

The Outpatient Care Center, with a total area of 153,000 square feet, will be attached to the existing hospital facilities. The center will incorporate two floors of outpatient diagnostic and treatment services, including an Outpatient Imaging, Women's, and Ambulatory Surgery Center. The three upper floors will feature physician provider suites within an academic clinic model to optimize operational and space efficiencies in support of ORMC's new hospital-employed physician practice.

Cancer Center Expansion and Renovation

The Cancer Center expansion and renovation, with a total area of 25,000 square feet, will improve patient care services in radiation oncology and infusion. The new and renovated space will provide a more comfortable and supportive environment for patients, staff, and visitors.

Campus Master Plan Vision

The two projects have been designed to integrate into the overall campus master plan vision, which aims to enhance brand identity and the overall patient and staff experience. The plan includes the development of green spaces and pedestrian-friendly pathways to create a welcoming and healing environment.

The Orange Regional Medical Center campus master plan represents a significant investment in the community's healthcare infrastructure. The projects are expected to improve access to healthcare services and provide a more comfortable and supportive environment for patients, staff, and visitors.
