The Project of motel, developed by ArchiLEM, is a stunning architectural endeavor situated in a prime location between the St. Petersburg - Sortavala highway and the beautiful Kiteenjoki river. This project not only takes advantage of the natural landscape but also emphasizes sustainable building practices, making it a standout in contemporary architecture. The design features a compact layout, focusing on energy efficiency and effective use of space, ensuring that every square meter serves a purpose while maintaining aesthetic appeal.

The layout of the motel is ingeniously divided into three functional zones, each serving distinct purposes while being interconnected through a common roof. The first zone accommodates parking for two cars, ensuring accessibility for guests. The second zone, the primary living area, includes the house itself, designed with a rectangular shape and axial dimensions of 5.5 to 8 meters. Finally, the terrace, which extends from the living area, offers a seamless transition between indoor and outdoor living, allowing guests to enjoy the serene views of the surrounding landscape.

Inside the house, thoughtful architecture takes center stage. The design includes essential spaces such as an entrance vestibule, a welcoming entrance hall with a wardrobe, a bathroom complete with a shower and sauna, and a spacious common room ideal for cooking and gathering. The strategically placed high floor-to-ceiling glass windows in the living room not only flood the space with natural light but also provide breathtaking views of the outdoor environment, blurring the lines between interior comfort and nature's beauty.
