The Mork Ulnes Architects architectural studio has done it again with their latest project, the Moose Road Residence. Located in California, this sustainable and budget-friendly home was designed to showcase three locally known land formations – Eagle Rock, a mountain ridge, and a valley of vineyards. The challenge was to frame these views while preserving each existing oak tree on site, which the team accomplished by constructing the house on steel stilts to avoid severing tree roots.
