Service: Exhibition Design

In the museum, exhibition, and event industries, exhibition designers are professionals who design and, in some cases, project manage the construction of exhibits. They are also known as exhibition planners. It is their responsibility to develop the layout and design of exhibition spaces in collaboration with architects, lighting and graphic designers, museum curators and registrars, audio-visual specialists, and interpretative planners, among other professionals. In order to do this, they want to design an exhibition space that is both aesthetically attractive and favourable to engaging people in the subject matter at hand.

A successful exhibition designer must be able to comprehend the objectives of the display and translate that knowledge into a physical location that is visually appealing. Their knowledge of a variety of design styles, as well as their ability to express themselves coherently to a group of designers and craftspeople, are essential. Also required are excellent organisational skills as well as the ability to operate within the limits of a certain budget and timetable.
