The Improvement of the Embankment in the area of the Pavshinskaya Poyma represents a significant urban transformation initiated by Basis architectural bureau. Situated in Krasnogorsk, this project spans approximately 13 hectares, catering to the needs of a densely populated residential area characterized by high-rise buildings. The challenge was clear: to create inviting recreational areas that enhance the quality of life for residents, particularly for families seeking green spaces for leisure and relaxation.

The first stage of this ambitious project was successfully completed in autumn 2020, covering 4 hectares, and marked a pivotal step toward revitalizing the embankment. The recently completed section introduces a harmonious blend of nature and urban living, featuring a lush landscape with planted maples, willows, and tall grass. This green haven now includes comfortable lounge chairs, benches, and two observation decks providing breathtaking views of the waterfront, creating an ideal setting for community engagement and outdoor activities.

A key aspect of the design process was the involvement of the local community. Through numerous public hearings, discussions, and active collaboration with residents, Basis studio has ensured that the new jogging track along the river not only meets the recreational needs but also resonates with the community's vision.
