The Danish architectural studio, ADEPT, won the commission to design the new urban area with a masterplan based on a distorted grid structure that references both historic and modern parts of the city. Construction has already begun on the 54-hectare mixed-use neighborhood, which will include approximately 600,000 square meters of built property.

Located on the bank of the Danube River, the Budapart masterplan aims to create a green and human-scaled neighborhood rather than just another new modern development.
