Project's Summary

The Phase 1 Hull Rust and Hibbing Taconite Mine View project, crafted by the esteemed LUCITO architectural studio, is nestled between the picturesque town of Hibbing, Minnesota, and the active Hull Rust and Hibbing Taconite Open Pit Mine. Acting as a focal point between these two interdependent entities, the project is perched atop the renowned Boeing Stockpile. This manmade mountain, comprised of overburden extracted during the mining process, serves as the ideal location for the project's distributed park and visitors' center.

Stretching across the stockpile's plateau and ring roads, the project offers a unique experience unlike any other in the region.
