Project's Summary

Miller Architects, a renowned architectural studio, has recently undertaken an ambitious project in central Kentucky, collaborating with Owensboro Regional Health to plan and design three state-of-the-art healthcare facilities. These facilities, located in the cities of Henderson, Madisonville, and Powderly, are expected to be fully operational and welcoming patients by the end of 2017.

What sets Miller Architects apart is their ability to combine innovative thinking and design with an in-depth understanding of healthcare operational practices. By establishing a continuous feedback loop with Owensboro Health, they have managed to redefine healthcare delivery and create a unique blend of patient services that have been successfully implemented in all three cities.

Each health facility will offer a comprehensive range of medical services to cater to the diverse healthcare needs of the community. Urgent care, urology, orthopedics, cardiology, and primary care physicians will be available at all locations. Additionally, the facilities will host advanced diagnostic services such as X-Ray and CT scans. To further enhance women's healthcare, each center will include a dedicated women's center, equipped with cutting-edge technology for mammography, bone density assessments, and ultrasound diagnostics.

The groundbreaking for this monumental project took place in the summer of 2016, and since then, the construction has been progressing steadily. The diligent efforts of Miller Architects and their collaboration with Owensboro Health have ensured that the project is on track for completion as scheduled.

The Owensboro Healthplexes in Madisonville, Henderson, and Powderly are poised to revolutionize healthcare delivery in central Kentucky. Miller Architects' commitment to excellence in design and their deep understanding of healthcare operations have culminated in the creation of these modern, patient-centric facilities. As the end of 2017 draws near, the anticipation for the opening of these much-needed healthcare centers continues to grow, bringing hope and improved healthcare access to the communities they will serve.
