LEO BURNETT MOSCOW
Project's Summary
Leo Burnett Moscow stands as a testament to the artistic vision and innovative architecture that defines modern workspace design. Designed by Nefa Architects in 2014, this remarkable project covers an area of 1830.0 square meters and embodies the creative essence of the advertising industry. With a focus on aesthetics and functionality, the design integrates striking visual elements that inspire creativity and collaboration among its users.
The creative process behind the office's design was led by Chief Architect Dmitry Ovcharov, along with a talented team including Maria Yasko, Victor Kolupaev, and Olga Ivleva. The concept revolves around the idea of utilizing glasses as a central expressive feature, which was carefully selected to reflect the brand's identity. The unique approach of scaling up glasses to a monumental size and incorporating them into the workspace creates an environment that not only serves a functional purpose but also acts as a captivating artistic installation.
In the development of Leo Burnett Moscow, the design team drew inspiration from the agency's storied history, harking back to its origins in Chicago in 1935. The playful integration of large, glittering stars hanging from the ceiling complements the oversized glasses, creating a whimsical atmosphere that encourages creative thinking. The office is designed to function as a modern art gallery, where every element is thoughtfully curated to promote an engaging and dynamic work environment.
The furniture selection further enhances the overall aesthetic of the space, featuring pieces from renowned brands such as Cappellini, Haworth, and Boss Design. The lighting design, crafted by experts at Spector LAB, includes custom-made lamps alongside products from Axo Light, Anglepoise, and Trilux. This meticulous attention to detail ensures that the lighting complements the architectural features while providing an inviting ambiance for employees and visitors alike.
Leo Burnett Moscow is more than just an office; it is an evolving creative landscape. The design allows for flexibility, with the potential for future additions of drawings, slogans, or color changes, ensuring that the space remains relevant and inspiring. The essence of the design—its core expressive substance—will continue to stand as a symbol of creativity, making this workspace a vibrant hub for innovation and collaboration in the heart of Moscow.
