The architectural design features a compact 27' by 27' footprint, cleverly integrating a standard office program with a distinctive twist. At the heart of the space lies a stunning central curved stair, meticulously crafted from reclaimed wood beams sourced directly from the original wool mill. This creative approach fosters an engaging atmosphere, encouraging open public spaces while maintaining the functionality of private areas, thus redefining the traditional office layout.

A primary focus of this project is its pursuit of LEED Silver certification. The Lake Architectural team has taken significant steps to ensure that the building incorporates sustainable practices. This includes the use of geothermal energy, repurposing the original foundation, and utilizing materials such as brick and stone. Additionally, the project emphasizes healthy finishes and energy-efficient fixtures, all contributing to a reduced ecological footprint.

In line with their sustainability objectives, the design incorporates a range of cutting-edge green materials. Notable choices include bamboo, recycled tile, Paperstone—a recycled paper composite surface—and Kerei, a pressed sorghum board. Furthermore, the team utilized low VOC paints and high recycled content gypsum, all of which align with the latest innovations in sustainable construction materials.
