Project's Summary

The Kitchen Coffee Roasters project, designed by ZROBIM architects, stands as a testament to innovative interior architecture tailored for a production facility. Located in the vibrant city of Minsk, Belarus, this project encompasses a creative use of space that not only meets functional needs but also elevates the aesthetic quality of the environment. With a total area of nearly 200 square meters, the design introduces a second floor that enhances both the operational efficiency and the visual appeal of the facility.

In executing this project, the architects faced the challenge of working within a limited budget while aiming to maximize the utility of the space. The decision to create a two-level design was pivotal, allowing for a clear separation of functional areas while maintaining an open and inviting atmosphere. The ceiling height of seven meters in the original structure was a significant factor in the design strategy. By renovating the main area up to three meters, ZROBIM architects achieved a balance between practicality and style, ensuring that the budget was effectively managed without compromising on quality.

The contrasting elements of the design play a crucial role in the overall ambiance of the Kitchen Coffee Roasters facility. The decision to retain the old walls of the production hall juxtaposed against the smooth, white walls of the newly constructed areas creates a striking visual narrative. This contrast not only highlights the history of the space but also signifies the fresh approach taken in its renovation. The self-leveling floor adds a modern touch, seamlessly connecting the different levels and enhancing the flow of the space.

Art is an integral part of the Kitchen Coffee Roasters design, with unique paintings that reflect the brand's identity and ethos. The artwork features Dobermans, strategically placed to create a dynamic interaction between the space and its occupants. One canvas is positioned on the floor, showcasing the full height of the dog, while the other two artworks feature the heads of the dogs elevated above the three-meter mark, creating an engaging visual experience that captivates visitors and employees alike. This thoughtful integration of art not only beautifies the space but also contributes to the storytelling aspect of the brand.

Overall, the Kitchen Coffee Roasters project embodies a blend of functionality, creativity, and a deep appreciation for design. ZROBIM architects have successfully transformed a production facility into a space that fosters creativity and collaboration, making it a perfect environment for training workshops and coffee roasting processes. This project not only serves the operational needs of Kitchen Coffee Roasters but also stands as an inspiring example of modern architectural practices in Belarus.
