Émond, Kozina, Mulvey Architects (ékm) is an architectural firm that was established in 1998. Over the years, our team of ten talented architects, including five members of the Order of Architects of Quebec, has successfully completed numerous projects in Quebec, Ontario, and the United States. We specialize in working with public, semi-public, and private clients, offering our expertise in new construction, additions, and renovations across various sectors, including institutional, commercial, industrial, and residential.

To ensure the highest quality and efficiency in our work, we collaborate with outside consultants whenever necessary, tailoring the project team to its specific requirements. In addition, our firm is equipped with a comprehensive technical library, woodworking shop, and advanced 3-D modeling and presentation software, which greatly contribute to our design process.

At ékm, we take a multidisciplinary approach to our architectural and planning services. We offer a range of expertise that extends beyond traditional architecture, encompassing landscape architecture, furniture design, interior design, and integrated planning. Our services also include conducting feasibility studies, site selection and planning studies, cost estimation, building inspection, and developing project programs, including financial viability assessments.

We are committed to minimizing environmental impacts during construction, enhancing the quality of life for users, and reducing operating costs by minimizing energy expenditures. Our dedication in this regard has been recognized through accolades such as the 2005 Architecture Award of Excellence for sustainable development, presented by the OAQ for our outstanding work on the New Arts Pavilion for the Collège de l’Ouest de l’Île. Additionally, our energy-efficient performance has earned financial incentives from the Canadian government for two institutional projects.
