Ömer Selçuk Baz embarked on his professional journey at the renowned Austrian Architecture Office "Atelier Stelzhammer" in Vienna. During his time there, he actively participated in various projects such as the Dr. Heldmann House, City Center Shopping Mall, and the Otto Wagner Prize Proposal. Additionally, he made significant contributions to the execution of housing, office, and shopping center projects undertaken by the atelier. In 2005, Ömer and E. Didem Durakbaşa joined forces to compete in the architectural competition for the Bursa Branch Office and Housing Complex for the Turkish Central Bank. Their outstanding work earned them the first prize, leading to the establishment of their architecture firm, Denge Mimarlık. From 2005 to 2011, they successfully completed numerous projects in the realms of housing, shopping centers, offices, and urban design. They also actively participated in various national and international architectural competitions, securing numerous prestigious awards.

Okan Bal, on the other hand, began his career as an urban planner following his graduation in 1990. He lent his expertise to several architecture firms, primarily focusing on project management, land development, urban planning, urban design, investments, housing, industry, and tourism planning. Throughout his professional journey, he engaged in numerous projects as an expert or contractor, leaving his mark on various developments.

Since 2005, Okan Bal has been meticulously crafting plans, projects, and providing consulting services at Rota Proje. It was in 2008 that Ömer Selçuk Baz and Okan Bal began their collaboration, working together and producing remarkable architectural designs. Their partnership led to the establishment of Yalın Mimarlık in 2011, where they continue to create innovative and distinctive architectural solutions.
